The candy is still in there!

Miscellaneous candies (circa 1930 - 1950)

Over the years of collecting, we have been fortunate to find boxes or containers with the candy still in its original packaging.

Most of the time the contents look like a science experiment gone wrong and it can be hard to make out what the candy used to look like however on the rare occasion we find pieces that look as fresh and delectable as the day they were made.

We think it is pretty incredible that these candies and packaging have stood the test of time and are still intact – although we wouldn’t want to sink our teeth into some of these…how about you?
